UV Printing
Made-To-Order
What is UV Printing?
UV printing is a cutting-edge digital printing technology that uses ultraviolet light to instantly cure ink on the surface of materials like acrylic, metal, and glass. At Siam P&W Technic, we deliver vibrant, durable, and eco-friendly prints directly onto non-absorbent surfaces—ideal for signage, packaging, and custom decorative work.

Our Advantages

Advanced Color Management & Quality Control
We use ONYX RIP software combined with X-Rite i1 Pro spectrophotometer for precise color calibration, ensuring accurate Pantone color matching with approximately 84% coverage using our 6-color printing system (CMYK+Lc+Lm). Every job starts with proper color calibration to maintain consistency and quality. Our professional approach guarantees exceptional print quality up to 726×1440 dpi resolution with reliable color reproduction across all materials.

Exceptional Outdoor Durability
Our UV prints using Taiwan eco-friendly UV-curable inks maintain vibrant colors for at least 3 years outdoors, making them ideal for signage and outdoor applications. The prints are UV-resistant, scratch-resistant, and waterproof. We use LED UV curing technology which is mercury-free, produces low VOC emissions, and uses up to 70% less energy than traditional mercury lamps—delivering superior durability while being environmentally responsible.

White Ink, Lc/Lm, and Varnish Capabilities
Approximately 90% of our UV printing projects utilize white ink—either as an underbase for transparent materials like acrylic and glass, a foundation for printing on dark surfaces, or white-only printing effects. Our 6-color system (CMYK+Lc+Lm) creates smoother gradients, more saturated light colors, and better skin tones compared to standard 4-color printing. We also offer spot varnish or full-surface varnish application in a single pass, adding protection, dimension, and visual interest to your prints.

Versatile Material Compatibility
Our two Docan H1000 UV printers can handle materials up to 100mm thick and print areas as large as 1200×2400mm. We work with acrylic, metal (stainless steel, aluminum), glass, wood, leather (PU), and many other rigid materials. While we can print on most rigid substrates, some materials require special considerations—reflective materials, glass, and certain plastics (PP/PC) may need special handling. We provide material consultation and testing to ensure optimal results for your specific application.

Layering Process
Combining layers of inks on different printing surfaces, we can achieve various effects that meet different applications.
Print on surface without white ink
Layering: Color → Acrylic

Print on surface
Layering: Color → White → Acrylic

Print on back-face
Layering: Acrylic ← Color ← White

Print with clear ink (varnish)
Layering: Varnish → Color → White → Acrylic

Print double sided on one face
Layering: Color → White → White → Color → Acrylic

Note: Please specify to print on front face or back face in the design file.
Print double sided on both faces
Layering: Color → White → Acrylic ← White ← Color

Note: Back-face printing can be in either "White + Color" or "Color + White" order, as shown in the video.
Special Effects
Sandwiched Between Two Acrylic Sheets
Use UV glue to assemble two acrylic pieces together to seal and protect UV printed graphics
Sandblasting
Acrylic is surface treated with fine sandblasting process to give the finished product a luxury touch
3D Contour Texture
By overlaying multiple layers of white ink, we can create 3D extruded texture
