As manufacturing requirements become more demanding and tolerances tighter, we recognized the need to elevate our inspection capabilities beyond traditional manual measurement methods. The new vision measuring system addresses this need by bringing several critical advantages to our production workflow.

Precision at the Micron Level: The YVM-5040VT achieves an impressive 3μm repeatability with 0.001mm resolution. To put this in perspective, a human hair is approximately 70 micrometers thick—our new system can detect variations 20 times smaller than that. This level of precision ensures that dimensional errors are caught before parts leave our facility, preventing costly rework and production delays for our customers.

Non-Contact Measurement Protects Your Parts: Traditional contact-based measurement tools, while accurate, can potentially damage delicate surfaces or thin materials during inspection. The YVM-5040VT uses a high-definition Sony CCD camera and optical measurement technology to inspect parts without any physical contact. This is particularly valuable for acrylic products, thin films, precision-cut metal components, and other materials where surface integrity is critical.

Consistent Results Across Production Batches: Human measurement, while skilled, can introduce variability. Factors like operator fatigue, interpretation of measurement tools, and environmental conditions can all affect results. The automated software-driven inspection of the vision system eliminates these variables, providing consistent, repeatable measurements across all production batches. This means better quality consistency for your orders, whether you order one piece or one thousand.

The YVM-5040VT offers a generous 500×400mm working area, accommodating the majority of parts we produce across laser cutting, CNC routing, and printing services. The system's advanced software can perform comprehensive 2D measurements including:

• Dimensional verification (length, width, diameter, radius)
• Geometric tolerance inspection (parallelism, perpendicularity, concentricity)
• Profile scanning and comparison against CAD drawings
• Statistical process control (SPC) for production monitoring

The high-definition camera system provides magnification ranging from 24× to 156×, allowing us to inspect both large parts and minute details with equal precision. The granite base construction ensures long-term stability and accuracy, while the Z-axis lifting system enables flatness measurement and 2.5D inspection capabilities.

Laser Cutting Quality Verification: For both CO₂ laser cutting of non-metals and fiber laser cutting of metals, we can now verify cut dimensions, edge quality, and geometric accuracy with unprecedented precision. CNC Routing Inspection: Complex CNC-routed parts often feature intricate geometries and multiple features that are time-consuming to verify manually. The vision system can rapidly inspect these parts, checking hundreds of dimensions in minutes and generating comprehensive reports.

UV Printing and DTF Registration: Registration accuracy is critical for multi-layer printing and color work. The vision system allows us to verify print positioning and dimensional accuracy, ensuring that your graphics align perfectly with substrate edges and features.

Made-to-Order Project Validation: For custom projects requiring specific tolerances, we can now provide detailed measurement reports documenting that all specifications have been met. This documentation is particularly valuable for customers in industries with strict quality requirements or those who need records for their own quality management systems.
